Relax and enjoy the four seasons in the North Georgia mountains! Sunrise Mountainside Cottage and Riverside Cabins offer the comforts of home and the charm of mountain living. Just a few miles south of Blairsville and three miles north of Vogel State Park, we are located in one of the most scenic spots in Georgia. Sunrise/Sunset Cottage is at the foot of Blood Mountain, and Moonglow/Twilight Cabins are right on the banks of the Nottely River. It is only 12 miles to Brasstown Bald Mountain, the highest point in Georgia — and a few miles further is the charming little village of Helen. Nearby is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state of Georgia — Helton Creek Falls in the Chattahoochee National Forest.

Our cabins are furnished with antiques, mountain crafts and collectables, giving the visitor just a hint of Appalachian life in bygone years. Sit quietly on your own front porch and wait for wildlife to come visiting. Listen in the darkness for the storied steps of a moonshiner heading up the 'hollar' to his still. Be serenaded with mountain and meadow birdsong. Whether it be spring's azaleas and rhodendrons or fall's foliage, you will thrill to the view of nature's palette.

Plan to relax in front of a crackling fireplace, or spend the afternoon in a creaking rocking chair. If nature walks and fishing just outside your door somehow get dull, you can wander into the countryside antiquing or seeking out local craftsmen. Restaurants in Blairsville offer a variety of treats from trout to T-bones, but you may just want to stock up on fresh veggies and other local fare from nearby Sunrise Grocery. (Be sure to get some of Jason's marvelous toasted "P-Nuts" for munching!)
